Exploring nature

Jul 9 2009

Youngsters can get down and dirty when they go back to nature at a museum near Rugeley this summer.

The Nature Explorers play scheme has been organised by Rugeley power station. It boasts a mix of fun, environmental games and arts activities.

The event, suitable for eight to 11-year-olds, will be at the Birches Valley Forest Centre on Cannock Chase except on the Wednesday when activities will be at Beaudesert Camp Park.

Katie Busfield, education manager at the power station, said: “The children will have the chance to take part in many exciting hands-on outdoor activities to find out about the wildlife living on Cannock Chase as well as team events such as orienteering and shelter building.”

Details from Katie on 07989 492 768 or 01889 572 100.
